Dark Circus features...

The pus ladies- The abandoned ladies who have disturbing scars and spots on their bodies.
There are rumors that they were victims of biological experimental.

The Sweet Booth- A huge container with curtains that has some sexy treats inside. In this dark circus, they use to put young child in the booth to entertain the guests. They can see it through the curtains, touch them, and even do more horrible things to these poor children. They were just pleasure toys.

I know this is too much to be a pleasure toy(lol)

but this was just one of my dark creatures

( not including the puss ladies and the sweet booth)

that I designed it during my illustration class with Matt(instructor),

he said to bring 3 drawings from ur own style of Dungeons and Dragons.

I don't really know about DD games or stories, so I was going front and back from Fantasy creatures to Creepy creatures(yup. my favorite).

I was going way forward on Creepy creatures that this was 1 of my 3 of DD.

Well.. all I heard was 'eww' or 'no, that's not DD!' from DD maniacs.

But hey, what can I say? It's my OWN style? well, Matt didn't give me bad grade and he also gave me some valuble advices on my creature drawings and how to improve in character developments. :)

So I put this in my character concepts and designs folder with above drawings.

Cirque De Freak poster

Still on a middle progress on this one. Trying to make flat as possible so I guess the lighting source isn't really neccessary this time. I want vibrant colors that are fancy enough to be a creepy looking circus poster. I'll upload a final piece for this one.

Hansel and Gretel

I always loved Hansel and Gretel. Maybe I was fascinated by the witch's yummy-licious house. But I also loved Grimm's Hansel and Gretel. This is a slightly sick version of H & G. No matter how colorful and heart-warming situation is going on, do not blind yourself to the real truth, or you might get eatten by a witch! >=) hehe.

Acrylic Painting (Indian Summer)

Personally, the acrylic painting class was one of my favorite classes. I was feeling depressed and disappointed in my poor art skills(depending on AAU style) and gave me the hard time moment and felt miserable. This class I was taking last semester was the time I felt released by the agony. Sano was my teacher who was beyond of the American art style. He doesn't want us to depend on static styles and wants us to full express our minds and souls to art. To be honest, I was still struggling at the first term, but he gave me a full release of pain. His thoughtful mind and speaking was such a relief for my stubbornish mind. This was my first restart of my whole art.

Humans can be beautiful and disgusting at the same time. Beautiful on outside but disgusting on the inside.. This was my moto to express my style of art from now on. And I'm glad Sano agreed.
